(February 17, 2010) Put Joe Bailey on a Plane The recent release of University of Wisconsin – Whitewater documents
indicate that both Martha Saunders, then UWW Chancellor, and her husband Joe Bailey were travelling by air on
the State of Wisconsin's dime. As Saunders' UWW credit card statement indicates, Saunders and Bailey spent over
$1,000 on air travel between Milwaukee and Atlanta during 18-Nov though 21-Nov of 2006. This sum doesn't
include another mysterious charge to Saunders for air travel from Atlanta on 26-Nov of that same year.

ticket to London seems worthy of an investigation.

have been paid with Dr. Saunders’ UW-W credit card and reimbursed by the UW-W Foundation.

USM constituents that USM could lose 100 faculty in the coming months as the institution struggles to deal with
what some believe will be a total budget cut of $30-$35 million from 2009 levels. This information comes via Ed
Kemp's 3-March-10 The Hattiesburg American report entitled "Unparalleled fiscal challenges." According to Kemp,
about 250 members of the USM family attended the recent town hall meeting on the USM budget wherein Lyman
painted a bleak fiscal picture.
