interim President and an interim Provost, and with Farhang Niroomand heading up the institution’s business
school, how could anything go wrong now at the University of Houston-Victoria?
(March 28, 2011) FEELING SAFE AT USM I Will Never Be Alone Behind Closed Doors With An Administrator At
USM Ever Again. “He was very agitated. He was very red faced. And I remember him pointing his finger at me
and saying, “I ought to kick your ass.” At that moment, I said I will never be alone behind closed doors with an
administrator at USM ever again. Never again will I without some sort of protection for my self because I thought
he could – if he was really – and I’ll tell you his reputation at the college, he has a reputation for having a bad
temper, and my thought at the time was this guy could come across the room at me, and it would be my word
against his, and there would be nothing I could do, and he’s been here for 20 years, and I’ve been here for three,
and there would be nothing I could do.”

from University of Houston - Victoria, administrators under Dr. Niroomand's authority are threatening faculty
whom they believe may be providing information to usmnews.net.
