University of Houston–Victoria's Paula Cobler told the world that UH-V has chosen the CoB's Farhang Niroomand as
its new dean.
(January 19, 2009) GH Chatter The news that Farhang Niroomand has become the new business school dean at the
University of Houston -Victoria has CoB faculty all jacked up in excitement and anticipation. Some have discussed
whether or not Niroomand will want, or try, to take any of the CoB's current faculty with him when he leaves for UH-V
this June.

B-School DeanThe news that former CoB associate dean, and current CoB economics professor, Farhang Niroomand
has accepted the position as dean of the business school at the University of Houston at Victoria is buzzing all around
these days. This particular report looks forward to what Niroomand has in store for himself when he arrives at his new

Scholar) of the current crop of permanent faculty at UH@V.

the University of Southern Mississippi CoB’s former associate dean, will inherit this summer.
