(June 6, 2007) Two More Out the Door A Look at the Departures of Madaris and Lewis The recent breaking news story about the impending departures of finance instructor Michael Madaris and SAIS Director and MIS professor Stanley Lewis has been verified. The two are heading off, Madaris to William Carey University, and Lewis to Troy University. While we wait for USMNEWS staffers to update the CoB departures (since 2003) list, we have put together an update of the brain drain list that has been building since the CoB’s AACSB Peer Review Team left town. In the last installment, we reported on the loss of Stephen and Dana Haggard, assistant professors in finance and management, respectively. These two are headed west, to Missouri State University. With these departures, the number of refereed journal articles that have left the CoB since Feb-07 rose to 90.
