(September 29, 2006) Special Report Running with the Babins An Investigative Series on CoB Faculty Travel This Special
Report presents some details regarding a trip to Europe in the Summer of 2005 made by the Babins (Barry and Laurie,
Professors of Marketing) to attend two consecutive conferences, one in France and the other in Germany. Barry Babin filed a
Permission to Travel Form in February of 2005 (see below) regarding this trip.
(November 30, 2006) Surrounded by “Good” Guys A Look at Grading in Management and Marketing At a CoB faculty meeting
last year, marketing professor Laurie Babin explained the power of turnitin.com to her fellow CoB faculty. During her
presentation, she indicated that she was practically the only faculty member in the College who appeared to be concerned
about students doing their own work with regard to term papers. She commented that she was tired of being the “bad” guy.
