(December 15, 2008) Holding Class A LOOK AT WHAT FACULTY ARE DOING TO ESCAPE THE COB As reported
here at USMNEWS.net, former CoB professor of marketing/tourism management Tony Henthorne left the CoB in the
summer of 2008 to take a departmental chairperson’s position in the Harrah College of Hotel Administration at UNLV.
(January 6, 2009) Is Former CoB TM Chair Tony Henthorne Dean Material? A recent report here at USMNEWS.net
provided evidence that cast doubt on the claim that former CoB tourism management chair Tony Henthorne had taken
the position of chair of tourism and convention administration at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. That report
referenced minutes from a UNLV committee meeting that referred to Henthorne as a visiting lecturer in tourism and
convention administration at UNLV. Recently, new evidence was found supporting the claim that Henthorne has
indeed been appointed to chair the TCA department at UNLV.
