Niroomand's salary has risen so high so fast...".
(September 4, 2006) SEDONA Files "… In this issue we visit the SEDONA records of Elizabeth LaFleur (Professor of
Marketing). We start with the now public CoB Profitability Spreadsheet (available at www.usmpride.com) that lists
a number of interesting facts, including each individual's grant contributions to USM. Three CoB faculty are listed as
being involved with grant work. Farhang Niroomand and Sharon Topping have been known to engage in grant
projects. The third, however, is Elizabeth K. LaFleur, whose line item in the profitability spreadsheet reports a
$68,500 grant income to USM…".

CoB Associate Dean Farhang Niroomand announced the CoB Administration's choices for a number of "Named
Professorships" for the 2006-07 academic year...".

(September 14, 2006) BAC/Partnership Society Professorship Finalists "During the August 2006 CoB Faculty
Meeting, CoB Dean Harold Doty announced the CoB's BAC and Partnership Society Professorship program, begun
under former CoB Dean William Gunther, would resume during the 2006-07 academic year. Doty stated that 10
Professorships were to be awarded this year, hopefully during September of 2006. Below is a list of what we
consider to be 15 finalists for these 10 positions, as of August, 2006…".
