(What is a "manager for constituent relations"?)
(November 30, 2011) . . . breaking news . . . Saunders Continues to Rock the Bloat HATTIESBURG – Van Arnold’s 29-Nov-2011 press release entitled “Professor Yadrick Named Associate Dean for Research in the College of Health” informs the USM community that nutrition and food professor Kathy Yadrick has been named by the Martha Saunders administration to the post of associate dean for research in the College of Health.
(December 13, 2011) The Farm News Briefs from Southern Miss 13-December-2011 Is Martha Spending Your Christmas Money? Pockets of the USM campus are buzzing about the new holiday commercial that USM is now running on CNBC and (possibly) other cable television networks. The 30-second spot is linked above, though there is also a 1-minute version that is available via YouTube. The commercial shows a number of USM students, singing Christmas songs, who come to the front door of the USM president’s mansion. cookies and sharing in the holiday cheer.

(January 9, 2012) Have you seen…? Have you seen the television advertisements that encourage potential students to study art and dance? They are paid for by Mississippi taxpayers and students. They are the decision of administrators at the University of Southern Mississippi and its College of Arts and Letters.
(Janaury 24, 2012) It's not President Saunders' money. Why should she care how she spends it? Ed Kemp at the Hattiesburg American reported on January 22, 2012: "The University of Southern Mississippi intends to build a fence along the Hardy Street side of its campus, with pedestrian safety cited as the key factor in the brick-and-mortar upgrade...".
