(March 2, 2009) Evaluations and Standards Will the first annual evaluations in the Lance Nail era be any different than in the past? George Carter is still writing his fiction for EFIB; therefore, no reason to believe he will not continue his long standing tradition of disregarding reality to favor his friends and attack his enemies. Steve Jackson – even more absent than ever – will most likely continue to tout and reward non-academic publishing and supporting the Accounting party line as the two most prized activities in SAIS. Dave Duhon will evaluate about half of the building. He will struggle, he will try to do a “fair” job, but will he honestly evaluate Harold Doty and the Tourism Management faculty?

(March 4, 2009) Special Report Sorry Lot An Investigative Report on CoB Attendance on the Council of Chairs Our earlier Special Report entitled Too Cool for School focused on the administrative service dereliction of EFIB chairman George Carter. Combined with tourism management chair Cheri Becker’s lackluster attendance record of just 66.7%, CoB chairs (Carter and Becker) attended only 44.4% of the 2005-06 CoC meetings.

(August 5, 2009) CoB News, 5 August 2009 GS Cites: Carter vs. Duhon Regular USMNEWS.net readers have followed with interest the GS cites race between George Carter, who now has 50, and MGT chair David Duhon, Carter's nemesis. Despite referring to Duhon as a "good ol' boy" who doesn't belong in academia, and despite having slightly led Duhon in the GS cites race for some time, Carter is now 8 GS cites behind Duhon, who turns up with 58 in a recent search. According to sources, this is a relative position (i.e., Duhon then Carter) that will likely hold for the remainder of their academic careers.
