BUSINESS, CURRENT DEAN, UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT
TYLER
(February 10, 2008) CoB News, 11 February 2008 Boise State University Rejects Doty Sources tell USMNEWS.NET
that, after naming former CoB Dean Harold Doty as one of the finalists, Boise State University has recently rejected
Doty's candidacy for its Dean's opening. This marks yet another American college/university to consider Doty for
the top position in its b-school, only to look the other way and deny his application further consideration.
(February 12, 2008) Harold Doty & the Rejection Factory Former CoB Dean Harold Doty's efforts to land a new
Dean's assignment is becoming one of the more interesting stories being covered by reporters here at
USMNEWS.NET. As long-time readers are aware, a number of colleges and universities have already sent Doty's

(February 26, 2008) 31st & Pearl Harold Doty Brings "Change You Can Xerox" They say that "even a blind squirrel
finds an acorn now and then". The same will be true for former CoB Dean, Harold Doty. He, too, will one day land

evaluation process was killed in December of 2006, when CoB management professors, Stephen Bushardt and
David Duhon, put a motion on the floor at the CoB's Fall 2006 faculty meeting that eliminated the traditional
executive team conference that established each faculty's rating in teaching, research and service. Under the
Bushardt-Duhon plan, individual faculty ratings are decided by department heads, without consultation with the
other department heads or the Associate Dean.
(March 5, 2008) Quizzing Harold by Duane Cobb Former CoB Dean, Harold Doty, is desperately trying to replace
his former title--Dean. The problem is that none of his potential suitors can get past the reality of the situation. That
reality is that a Harold Doty Administration holds all sorts of possibilities, and most of them are bad . . . very bad.
To date, Doty's sole response
