The document's appearance on the muckraking website marked the first time many COB faculty members had seen the document, which outlines the COB's AACSB assessment plan in detail...".

(August 2, 2006) CoB Administrators in Their Own Words "'In Mississippi we fall . . . [within the jurisdiction of] the 5th Circuit Court and there was a decision there involving the State of Texas which means I can't do anything extra to recruit minority faculty members . . . CoB Dean Harold Doty on 9/26/2005, speaking to faculty and administration at the University of South Florida about hiring the first ever African-American female in the history of CoB's College of Business�".

(August 4, 2006) 31st & Pearl Dear Economic Development, We are writing to remind you of why you had to leave the CBED, should you ever consider a return, as former USM Public Relations Director Lisa Slay suggested you might. Although we are no longer the CBED, we remain committed to the ideals that led to your eventual removal. You may remember that your existence in the CBED was somewhat of a public dispute between our Dean, Harold Doty, and your supporters in the central administration of USM. You had to go, because you threatened our AACSB Accreditation Reaffirmation status.

It doesn't take an electronic screening report from Kintera to understand that he takes PRIDE only in what you do for him. Still all warm and fuzzy about life in the CoB?...".

(August 11, 2006) 31st & Pearl Harold Doty: Leaving Chancellorsville on the Way to Gettysburg? February 2007 is a make or break time in Harold Doty's life. It is in that month that AACSB will come calling on USM, and now, scarcely six months before the visit, the business school administration is scrambling to right a listing ship. As noted in an earlier commentary, Doty's game plan was to schmooze with the visit team, to wine and dine them, to mystify their minds with Southern cooking and some stout liquor, and to hope that they were amenable to the distraction. Unfortunately, Doty's balloon has been burst.
