Part of her deposition concerned USMNEWS.NET. Anderson was asked about her opinion of articles/reports on the website. (June 27, 2008 ) CoB News, 27 June 2008 Does the “S” in “SAIS” Stand for “Subtext”? Recent reports about the U.S. District Court deposition of Mary Anderson, assistant professor of accounting, have sparked interest among USMNEWS.NET readers. Arguably the most intriguing subject of those reports has been Anderson’s comments about the “subtext” behind the USMNEWS.NET reports on the research profiles in the CoB’s accounting department.
(July 14, 2008 ) CoB News, 14 July 2008 Just Who Was Mary Anderson Really Criticizing? The recent Special Report entitled Built by Englebrecht spotlights some of Mary Morgan Anderson's recent U.S. District Court testimony. In her federal court deposition, Anderson, an associate professor of accounting in USM's CoB, made a point of criticizing the USMNEWS.net editor's academic research by stating that his recent publication in The CPA Journal did not examine an "accounting related" topic and that it was not counted (by the CoB) for AACSB accreditation purposes.

The recent USMNEWS.net Special Report, Built by Englebrecht, contained some interesting United States District Court testimony from CoB assistant professor of accounting, Mary Morgan Anderson. Not surprisingly, that report drew a lot of interest among readers, and some have requested more on Anderson's testimony.
