(August 2, 2006) CoB Administrators in Their Own Words "'In Mississippi we fall . . . [within the jurisdiction of] the 5th

(June 14, 2007) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . JBRs for the Road Management & Marketing Chairman Barry Babin’s editorial
association with the Journal of Business Research has been the subject of a number of reports at usmnews.net. With
the arrival of the spring 2007 versions of the CoB’s Sedona vitae, it appears as though that “association” continues to
pay off for faculty in the CoB’s Management & Marketing Department.
(May 19, 2008) CoB News, 19 May 2008 MGT's Sequeira Set for Big 2008-09 CoB assistant professor of management
Jennifer Sequeira is poised for a big year during 2008-09. If sources are accurate, then Sequeira is the leading
candidate for the CoB's Louis K. Brandt Research Award. Although the producers of USMNEWS.NET's recent series
on the 2009 LKBRA place finance professor Tom Lindley at the top of the CoB, Sequeira does appear in second place
(so far) on the strength of her publications in the Journal of Business Research and the Journal of Developmental
Entrepreneurship.

(February 24, 2009) Missing & Musical Professorships What Happened to the Williams & Parham-Bridges, and Who
Should Hold Them? The CoB has a few professorships. The list includes (1) the Morgan Distinguished Professorship
in Accounting, (2) the Draughn Distinguished Professorship in Healthcare Marketing, (3) the McCarty Distinguished
Professorship in Information Systems, and (4) the Kaetsu Distinguished Professorship in International Business. Not
included among this list are the Williams Distinguished Professorship in Minority Entrepreneurship and the
Parham-Bridges Distinguished Professorship in Real Estate. These two are omitted from the list of four above not
because they aren't funded. No, they have been funded, and in the case of the Parham-Bridges, the funding is
substantial and it has been around (i.e., in the USM Foundation) for quite some time.
